질문사항이 있어서 이렇게 글 남깁니다.

교재 19페이지 lackluster에 나오는 예문을 보면
We were disappointed by the Korean national team's lackluster performance,
as it managed to score no goals against an overmatched opponent.
(a) it managed to score에서 "manage to V"가 어떤 의미로 쓰인 것인지 잘 모르겠습니다.
(b) the Korean national team's lackluster performance에서 lackluster대신에
anemic을 써서 anemic performance(이전에 자세하게 답변해 주셨었는데)라고 하면
"lackluster performance"와 "anemic performance"는 의미상/뉘앙스의 차이가 있는지
궁금합니다.

교재의 내용이 아닌 제가 보고 있는 회화책에 나오는 예문 해석이 궁금합니다.
(Advanced Vocab에 관한 내용 질문이 아닌데 죄송합니다.)
A : If my memory serves me right, this is the same place that I came when I was
a high school student.
B : It must be strange to be back here again after such a long time.
How do you feel?
A : I feel like I am coming home again, because I spent some very important
years of my life here.
--> I feel like I am coming home again에 대한 번역을
"집에 돌아온 기분이랄까"라고 되어 있는데 시제가 am coming으로 현재진행형같은데
해석이 시제랑 좀 맞지 않는 것 같습니다.
그냥 " I feel like I have come home again"이라고 하는게 더 낫지 않을까 싶은데
답변해 주시면 정말 감사하겠습니다.
